Ganadores y análisis a los Premios Emmy 2015
El mayor éxito de HBO en los últimos años, hizo historia en los Emmy.
Game of Thrones acaba de ganar el mayor número de premios incluyendo el de Mejor serie Dramatica, en un solo año. En total, 12 Emmys, destruyendo el récord anterior de The West Wing, en 2000, que logró ocho estatuillas en los premios.
Por su quinta temporada, la serie de fantasía ganó los premios a Mejor Drama, Mejor Dirección en una Serie Dramática, Mejor Guión en una Serie Dramática y Mejor Actor de Reparto en una Serie Dramática en la ceremonia televisada. Añadiendo estos cinco a los ocho premios que recibió anteriormente en las categorías creativas, la serie alcanzó récord con los premios a: Mejor Reparto en una Serie Dramática, Mejor Maquillaje en una Serie, Mejor Edición de Imagen en una serie dramática, Mejor diseño de producción en un serie de fantasía, Mejor Edición Sonido, Mejor sonido, Mejores Efectos Visuales y Mejor Equipo del truco en una Serie Dramática.
Mad Men fue una de las grandes perdedoras de la jornada con sólo un premio para el actor Jon Hamm que, luego de varias nominaciones, finalmente se hizo con la estatuilla a «Mejor actor principal en una serie dramática». Veep fue otra de las series que triunfó con el galardón a Mejor Serie de comedia, mejor actor de reparto (Tony Hale) y mejor guión de comedia. Dejando a Modern Family, pro primera vez en muchos años, con las manos vacías.
En Miniserie destacó la producción Olive Kitteridge fue la ganadora absoluta con 6 estatuillas. Dejando a American Horror Story con las ganas de tener alguna mención, junto con The Honorable Woman.
